Description
This image is a digital photographic closeup of the Swann Memorial Fountain located on Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A popular tourist destination in the city of Philadelphia and considered one of the most beautiful spots in the city, the fountain was built in Logan Circle by Alexander Stirling Calder to depict a graceful aerial water ballet. Also known as the Fountain of the Three Rivers, the sculpture honors the area's three major streams, the Delaware, Schuykill and the Wissahickon. During the warm months, swimming in the fountain is a long-standing Philadelphia tradition.
