Description
Like many of us, I love witnessing the miraculous new growth of all kinds of plants in the spring. I took this photograph of the delicate emerging leaves of my Japanese Maple tree, which is still quite small though it is over ten years old. I really enjoyed the play of afternoon sunlight on the leaves against the softly focused background of the rest of the garden.
