This abstract piece portrays an early morning urban scene viewed from across the water. The sky is colored soft rose and the shadows of the skyscrapers are picking up a tinge of yellow from the rising sun. The blue water with highlights in shades of rose and lavender compose much of the painting. Hi there! Hope you are enjoying visiting my galleries and thanks for stopping by! Here's some information about me and my journey as an artist. My fascination with creating art began as a child at the age of five, drawing with oil pastels and painting with acrylics. I still recall the great fun I had playing with paint at the easel in kindergarten, just wanting that opportunity to go on forever. Thankfully I have never lost the thrill of having a paint brush in my hand. As a young person, I took art classes throughout elementary and high school, and then continued with classes in drawing, painting and photography at the college level (Boston University, Arcadia University and LaSalle University).
