Artist's Description

This image is a digitally enhanced version of the iconic Philadelphia landmark LOVE statue. The statue created by Robert Indiana was erected in 1976 (for the Bicentennial) in John F. Kennedy Plaza, northwest of Philadelphia's City Hall. John F. Kennedy Plaza is nicknamed LOVE Park due to the popularity of the statue. The statue is a favorite tourist destination for tourists and locals alike. LOVE park serves as the entrance to the city's Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

Hi there! Hope you are enjoying visiting my galleries and thanks for stopping by! Here's some information about me and my journey as an artist. My fascination with creating art began as a child at the age of five, drawing with oil pastels and painting with acrylics. I still recall the great fun I had playing with paint at the easel in kindergarten, just wanting that opportunity to go on forever. Thankfully I have never lost the thrill of having a paint brush in my hand. As a young person, I took art classes throughout elementary and high school, and then continued with classes in drawing, painting and photography at the college level (Boston University, Arcadia University and LaSalle University).
