I excitedly captured this view through a castle window while on a wonderful tour of several castles in the Loire Valley in France quite a few years ago. I loved catching the gracious bouquet of gorgeous snapdragons in the peak of perfection so well lit by the soft light coming through the windows. No doubt many former kings and queens who either lived in or visited this palace in centuries past have certainly enjoyed this breathtaking view of the river along with the peaceful surrounding countryside.
